Glass grinding and polishing process

  1. First step. Use "Abranet Sic NS 150 mm P180" sanding disc in combination with Mirka "PS 1437" polisher to remove glass scratches. Can be sanded dry or wet. Sanding time: Always sand long and consistently. Before the next sanding, clean the sanded surface.
  2. Second step. Sand with the "Abralon 150 mm P180" sanding disc together with the "PS 1437" polishing machine. Can be sanded dry or wet. Sanding time: about 2 minutes. Before the next sanding, clean the sanded surface.
  3. Third step. Sand "Abralon 150 mm P360" together with Mirka "PS 1437". Can be sanded dry or wet. Sanding time: about 2-3 minutes. Before the next sanding, clean the sanded surface.
  4. Fourth step. Sand with "Abralon 150 mm P600" then continue sanding with "Abralon 150 mm P1000" using a "PS 1437" polisher. Can be sanded dry or wet. Sanding time: about 3-4 minutes for each grain of the sanding disk. Before polishing, clean the sanded surface.
  5. Fifth step. Polish glass polishing paste "Polarshine E3" using "PS 1437" together with felt Mirka "125 x 6 mm, Grip". Clean the polished surface to check for any unevenness. Use a soft microfiber cloth and window cleaner. Polishing time: 4 minutes or more.
